Always for the Player.
Shore Tap runs 8-Ball, 9-Ball and 10-Ball TAP league nights at taverns and billiard rooms up and down the shore — built around fair racks, bigger payouts, and handicaps that keep teams together instead of breaking them up.
Ten reasons players switch
Team 8, 9 and 10 Ball, plus Ladies, Scotch Doubles and Double TAP.
Larger cash payouts than other leagues.
No slop. Call-pocket 8-Ball. 9-Ball is call-9 only, with no ball count.
9-Ball and 10-Ball have push options, and jumping is allowed.
No membership fees for team captains — just a $50 weekly team fee.
Team handicap cap of 25 keeps your team together season after season.
You start one handicap lower than you would in other leagues.
National events are held in a different location every year.
Rally in the Valley at the Super Billiards Expo, every year.
Dream team, singles, ladies-only and doubles events at every national — no 1,000-player qualifier to get in.

No slop
8-Ball is call-pocket. Nothing counts because it happened to drop.
9-Ball is call-9
Call the 9 only — and there is no ball count to argue about.
Push & jump
9-Ball and 10-Ball both have push options, and jumping is allowed.
Handicap cap of 25
A team handicap ceiling of 25 keeps rosters together instead of forcing splits.
Start a step lower
New players start one handicap below where other leagues would place them.
$50 a week, per team
No membership fee for captains. One weekly team fee covers the night.
